The Progress of Our House!!!!!

This is a view of the front, side and back of the house. As you can see they have finished the framing of the entire first floor this week. We are keeping our fingers crossed and praying hard that the house will be finished by the end of August. Norm and I are getting very excited and feel that The Lord has certainly blessed us with such an awesome opportunity of purchasing a New house!!! God is so good to us!!

Our New House

After many, many months of prayer and searching we have found our soon to be new home!!!! God has led us to a location we weren't even thinking of. After many hours of going in and out of houses, we decided to go have lunch with my Mother In Law one Sunday afternoon and she decided to pull out her laptop and show us a development that we never thought we could afford a home in, but we thought what the heck it can't hurt to go check it out so we went down to the development and absolutely loved it! The following weeekend we took a ride back down to the development and stopped into the office to ask all of the questions we could possibly think of. Little did we know, we could have a brand new house built, pick out the colors of the exterior and majority of the interior of the house. Norm and I are both very excited and feel The Lord's hand in this big decision for us. We both know that this is where God want's us to be!!

The past few weekends we have been going to the flooring company and picking out all of our carpet colors, vinyl, and hardwood floors. Going to the office and picking out cabinets, countertops, bathroom fixtures, etc . . . Needless to say it has been quite a busy few weeks for us!!

We are very excited and really looking forward to finally settling and being in our First New Home together!!!

Just An Update

Wow, it has been over 7 months since we have posted anything new on our blog. Well we don’t exactly have anything to post since we don’t have any kids, no pets, and no house yet. Besides our everyday lives, work, home and back to work, Norm and I have been car shopping, house hunting, and spending time at home since we both are just getting over a sinus infection. Trust me it hasn’t been fun!

I have been saving money and paying off credit card debt for quite some time now, trying to get on top of and control of our finances. Now that is all taken care of for the most part last Saturday we spent many long hours at a car dealership, but it was all worth it because I am driving my new car now!!! I decided to get a Mazda 6 which I have had my eye on for a very long time.
I absolutely LOVE it!!!!!

On the other hand, Norm and I are still anxiously searching for a townhome/condo/single family home to purchase! We are not sure what we want to settle in, but we know we don’t want to get into a mortgage that we can’t handle so we are taking our time, praying that God will lead us to the home he wants us to be in.

Well, I guess that’s all for now. We will probably update again in about a year or so. Hopefully I will be posting pictures of our new house sooner that that since our lease is up in August. We will keep you posted as far as the House Hunting goes.
